Spinal Tap today, Day 8 Chemo meds tomorrow

Daddy woke me up to take this picture! |
They have changed his blood thinner from Arixtra, which was once a day, back to Lovenox, which is twice a day. The Lovenox tends to make him bruise more (we used this from about 2 years old until about 6 years old), but the doctors like it because we can hold it when we need a procedure. I'm kinda hoping we can go back at some point, but he seems to be tolerating the twice a day injections.
Patrick was able to run over to the apartment and get the internet hooked up (which is probably the most important part of setting up the apartment!) He also picked up an Xbox at the Microsoft Store, so Ryan will have something to play with when he gets out of the hospital. Spoiled little boy!
Otherwise, another boring day... More chemo tomorrow (Day 8 of 29). After this dose, he won't be getting anymore chemo for a whole week! Hopefully, he continues to do well. All his numbers are stable or getting better, which has the doctors thrown for a loop, but we wouldn't expect any less from Ryan. Patrick said that at the beginning, we would get 2-3 HemO
c doctors coming in for rounds, but today there were 6... He thinks that Ryan is getting a reputation around the hospital. For those who know him, this is also not a surprise. 😉
Allen, Connor and Kathryn are heading to Billings tomorrow for State Music Festival, and I'm taking a day off... Church, laundry, cleaning, grading, etc. It seems as though it's been weeks since I've had time to do that.
