Day 11 - Still feeling like crap

Staying positive with a thumbs up, and eyes closed
We are all done with our chemo for this week and we get 2 weeks off.  Ryan is still spiking fevers, but the doctors think that it will get better in the next few days as the chemo gets out of his system.

He was feeling crappy today, and the doctor explained that one of the side effects of the chemo is a 'flu like' feeling (aches, fever, nausea and just generally feeling crappy).  He got to sleep most of the day, and even asked to put off 'movie night' with daddy to sleep longer.

He's still inpatient and will stay in for a few more days until his counts come back up and the fevers stop.  They are still treating him with antibiotics (since he did officially grow staph), and since his levels are low, it's just safer.

I'm back home for a few days, spending time with my other three kids, before heading back to Seattle next week.

Thank you all for the prayers and good thoughts!
