Day 2 - Long infusion, but all is good

All smiles, while we rest during the infusion
Ryan had his "long" infusion today.  It involved about 8 hours of chemo and extra fluids.  Fortunately, the nurses decided he could have a room, with a bed, rather than the chair.  So, he simply took a 3-4 hour nap, and watched movies the rest of the time.  He was in a great mood, and really enjoyed playing Xbox games when he got back to the apartment.

The swelling in his legs has decreased and he seems to be getting stronger.  Patrick said the transport chair works great (he compared it to a large stroller), and Ryan was able to walk a good distance with Grandma after his infusion.

After the infusion, they headed over to the Microsoft store, where Ryan found Halo Wars 2... which he managed to convince Grandma and Grandpa to purchase for him... spoiled boy!  He also got new headphones, that connect to the Xbox, so Patrick doesn't have to listen to him killing aliens and monster... :)
Life can't be too bad, when you get to play Xbox games.

Tomorrow, we have scheduled a lab draw and a short infusion (only about an hour this time).

All is going well here, as Allen and Kathryn got to help their friend with branding (a new experience for them).  And Connor and I had a fun time in town.

We're trying to make life as 'normal' as possible.  Thank you all for the love and support and prayers and good thoughts.
