Day 76 - Happy 20th Anniversary!

Today was our 20th anniversary.  It's hard to believe that it's been 20 years...  I am so grateful for the life we have together.  In addition, it's also my in-law's (Ann and Greg) 46th anniversary!  (Yes, we got married on Patrick's parent's anniversary... only 1 date to remember...)  Seems like just yesterday... (oh my goodness, were we ever that young??)  We were spoiled with phone calls from our kids (each one called individually, so I guess they actually thought about us) and texts and calls and cards from family and friends.  We may be away from them today, but we feel the love in our hearts...

To celebrate, we did absolutely nothing.  We woke up late, talked and played games.   I made dinner, and Ryan actually ate (not a lot, but I'll take what I can get).

We have clinic tomorrow with the GI team, surgery and transplant, to decide what to do about the hole in his belly.  We changed the wafer tonight, and it is really healing nicely.   And then we are scheduled for chemo on Friday.  It's been a great week, especially with him feeling so good.  I'm not looking forward to the next round of meds, but the doctors have told us this round won't be that bad...

Thank you all for the continued prayers and good thoughts...

(Thanks Allen for finding the wedding pictures and texting them to me... )
