Day 77 - Clinic with GI and Surgery

Showing off the 'guns'...
We got to talk to GI and Surgery today about the hole in Ryan's belly.  He's been pretty anxious about it, so we've kinda been looking forward to this clinic visit all week.

Amazingly, clinic lasted about 10 minutes, in which the doctors said he looked good.  They said the hole was healing nicely and would probably be completely healed in a few weeks.  In the mean time, we are moving forward with Chemo, and not worrying about it.  We'll have a follow up visit with them in about a month, to see how things are going.  But otherwise, he's doing great and no worries.  Huh...  Okay.

So, tomorrow, we have clinic with Chemo, and an infusion around noon.  That leaves the rest of the afternoon, in which Ryan said he wanted to go see Wonder Woman.  (He's been saying he didn't want to go, until today, when he finally decided that it might be okay...)

Thank you all for the prayers and good thoughts!!

  2. Tell Ryan that Wonder Woman was Aunt Jen's favorite superhero when she was a kid! I think he'll like the movie (and the hero). Let us know how it goes... XOXO, Aunt Jen
