Day 81 - Trip to Museum

We finally made it over to the Burke Natural History Museum today.  Ryan was able to walk around for about an hour, before saying he was too tired.  That's amazing!!  By the way, apparently, there aren't many dinosaur bones in Washington, since it was mostly underwater during the period when dinosaurs existed.  Seems obvious, but I had never thought about it before!

Ryan really enjoyed the exhibits, especially the cultural items from Japan and China.  He wants to be a Samurai, and was really excited about the swords and masks.   There was also a section where we could watch the lab technicians working on new exhibits.  One group was sifting through Montana debris, looking for fossils, which made me miss home.  Another group was using 3D printing to make an exact scale model of a dinosaur... so cool.

We have another clinic appointment tomorrow after Patrick drops me off at the airport.  I'm looking forward to coming home and seeing everyone, but I'll miss Ryan and Patrick.  Ugh, this kinda sucks.  And maybe I'll bring some of the Seattle weather back home to Montana... really NOT looking forward to 100 degree days.

Thank you all for the continued prayers and good thoughts!
