Day 86 - Got to watch Cars 3!

The boys decided to watch a movie this evening.  Ryan is feeling better today (not as much nausea) and he decided that a movie might be fun.  They went to a later showing (6pm) and fortunately, it wasn't very busy.  Patrick said they both enjoyed the movie and I got to hear all about it.  The only problem was that he got kinda cold in the theater (even with a long sleeve shirt!).

Tomorrow is another relaxing day before two days of chemo.  Monday will be a normal dose and then Tuesday will be a spinal tap, with Interventional Radiology.  Ryan is really looking forward to it, because he gets to 'go to sleep'.  I feel like I should be more concerned about his enjoyment of anesthesia, but apparently, that's not uncommon with these kids.  And it's so much better than him being afraid.  He also will have Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy on Monday, so it will be a pretty long day.  I hope they enjoy this weekend!

I'm excited because my sister in law (Mandi) and her husband (Vance) arrived in Montana today, and my other sister in law (Jen) will be here in tomorrow, with her husband (Josh).  They all live down in California, so we don't get to see them as much as we'd like.  Then, we get another visitor later this week, when my Mom arrives from New Mexico.  It will be so much fun to have family together, and I've warned Patrick and Ryan that we will expect lots of Skype time in the next week!

Thank you all for the continued prayers and good thoughts!

  1. What a picture, looks like they were deep in thought, and the other one--love that smile!! WOW sounds like you will have lots of company, which is good. So they will all be here at the same time? what a family reunion :) so good to see your smiling face last night and yes I know I am a frequent flyer on this site, but just want to let you know my prayers and love are with all of you all the time.
