Day 90 - Not feeling so hot.

We think the chemo meds are catching up with Ryan.  He's been throwing up every few hours for the last day or two.  That's not surprising, but it still kinda sucks.  The worst part is that the 4 different drugs we have to help treat his nausea are all oral, which means he ends up throwing them up, defeating the purpose.

The boys spent most of the day inside, as Ryan didn't have much energy.  But they did make it to the roof for a little fresh air and shuffleboard.  I don't know how much fun he had, but any bit of energy today was a good thing.  (if you are wondering, he's attached to his TPN, so the white tube going to the backpack is his IV.  He usually WEARS the backpack, which keeps it from dragging, but he was complaining that it was heavy, which it is.)

So, Patrick decided this evening to call the doctors and ask for some IV fluid and IV nausea meds.  They headed over to the ER, where they got labs, fluid and meds. All his labs look fine, but they decided it might be better to keep an eye on him until he stops throwing up... so he got to get admitted.  He was actually pretty happy, as the hospital is where they make you feel better.  Hopefully, it will be a short visit...

Prayers and good thoughts are always appreciated!
