I think there's a sword in his hand,
as I'm standing in front of the TV,
and he wants me to move!

We had clinic today, and things look really good... Ryan's ANC is still up in the 2500's and most of his labs look great. However, his platelet count is still lower than they want it. He's at 55, and the doctors want it above 75. So, we've decided to delay his treatment for another week to allow it to come up further. Which means that we get another week of feeling awesome!
Ryan's oncologist told us that it's pretty common to delay treatment when the numbers are not where they want them. We know that the two weeks of treatment are going to kick his butt, so we'd like him as strong as possible before we start. In addition, his belly is healing up great, which makes them very happy. One of the concerns is that going back to the 'nasty' chemo might cause problems with the healing process from his ostomy, so another week is great.
Patrick and Ryan and I were discussing plans for this week, since we only have one more clinic visit tomorrow with GI, and then we are free until next Monday. We're thinking about the zoo (his doctor said his numbers were great, but no playing in the animal poop...) and maybe another movie. We might also check out another museum or maybe just take a drive. As long as he continues to feel great, we are taking full advantage of it!
Thank you all for the continued prayers and good thoughts!
