Day 103 - GI/Transplant is very pleased...

I forgot to get a picture during the day,
so I got one sleeping... :)
We got to go to GI clinic today, so Surgery and GI could evaluate the hole in Ryan's belly.  They were very, very pleased at how good it looked!  They were also very happy with how the entire chemo has gone so far.  While they will continue to keep an eye on him from the shadows, we won't see them for clinic for another 3 months.  He looks good, feels good and all is going great.

In addition, he's asking for food now (rather than me pushing him).  He had breakfast and lunch and some dinner, and felt great.  I expect his appetite will decrease next week when we restart the chemo, but until then, I'm going to be grateful.

Also, I've started him back to doing school work... It's a bit of a challenge (as it is for all students at the end of summer), but I think he and Patrick will do just fine.  It's been a pretty good day!

Thank you all for the continued prayers and good thoughts!!
