On the Concorde... |
Patrick said he and the kids had a great time at the museum! They got to board a Concorde, and see one of the original Air Force One planes, and lots of fighters! I'm so glad they got the chance to go visit and see all the exhibits.
Ryan got to spend the day with the grandparents. He has been working on another large helicopter project, and Grandma said he spent about 6 hours today working on it... He seems to still be feeling great, which is always a blessing. The family all went out to dinner, and just enjoyed spending time together. The grandparents and the kids are leaving tomorrow for their trek to Idaho to see the eclipse. I'm sure Patrick and Ryan will need some rest and relaxing after a few whirlwind days with the family. But I am so grateful they got a chance to see each other!!
Thank you all for the prayers and good thoughts!
that is fantastic that Patrick got to spend time with his other children!! and I bet Ann and Greg enjoyed the time with Ryan, so all are happy. Plus the fact that Ryan was feeling so good for their visit, I know there was concern that he would be ill because of the postponement of the original chemo--but it all worked out for the best. Yes, I imagine those two left in Seattle will need to recoop their energy, but a fun time was had by all!! I had heard that Ann and Greg etal were going to watch the eclipse, hope there are not too many clouds and smoke to hinder that. And you are left home to prepare for school :( Prayers for all. LUV U all
