Day 120 - Getting back into routine

No, dad, please no more black eyed peas! |
Patrick thought it would be good to make black-eyed peas in the crock pot (which is one of his favorite things for dinner). As the rule in our house, you have to at least try what we make for dinner. We've been spoiling Ryan a little bit, as we are simply grateful that he's eating. But, in this case, Patrick told him that he was required to at least try the peas. Ryan didn't care for them much (as you can see from the expression), but he made a valiant effort.
I spent the day in town with friends, lunch and shopping, which was great, almost like a normal person.
I expect this weekend to be quite boring for Patrick and Ryan, but that's okay. Clinic is scheduled for next Monday, and we'll see what we have planned for next week.
Thank you all for the continued prayers and good thoughts!
yup that was the rule at our home also, at least try it, some of the items got the same reaction as Ryan's!!! those were the ones the kids said to put a frowny face on that recipe :) Glad they had a restful day. Hopefully Monday this program can get back on track again. OMG the smoke is sure bad here, isn't it?? But happy that you had a great day in town. so did the eclipse travelers get stuck in all the gridlock of traffic? that is crazy and the event isn't until Monday?? Prayers for a safe trip for them and for good news at Monday's clinic. LUV U all
