Day 140 - OT and PT
Ryan had Occupational and Physical Therapy today, in addition to his chemo. The therapists were very pleased with the progress he has made this month! He's doing better, including his reading (since Patrick is doing such a great job teaching him!), so they said 'keep on doing whatever you are doing, and we'll see you in a month'... Which is awesome! They figure that part of his struggle is the ~40 days of laying on his back during the first month or two of chemo therapy. Amazingly, that can really cause your muscles to atrophy... (who knew?)
More chemo tomorrow, and then a break for the weekend. He didn't want French fries tonight, so no McDonalds. The smoke in Seattle is still pretty annoying, so they are staying inside most of the day to keep him from developing any lung issues. He's also been flirting with a fever, just this side of calling it in. Patrick said he goes to sleep every night (or morning, in his case), expecting to have to bring him into the ER, but so far, all is good. We'll see what tomorrow holds!
Thanks for all the prayers and good thoughts!!
