Day 156 - Didn't make it to the movies, yet

So, the boys were going to go see Ninjago today.  But, Patrick forgot that the theater they wanted to go to was 'reserve seating'... which means they need to buy their tickets in advance.  Since it's opening weekend, by the time Patrick remembered to get tickets, the seats they wanted were gone.  So, after some debate, they decided to pick a time tomorrow (Sunday) and reserve their tickets today.  Patrick likes the idea of picking their seats ahead of time, but hates the lack of spontaneity.

As a result, Ryan got to play StarCraft on the computer as soon as he finished his math and phonics work.  Patrick was able to get lots of work done (especially considering his 'nap' yesterday), and it was a pretty good day!

Tomorrow is the Raynesford Pie and Ice Cream Social at the Raynesford Community Center from 1-4... No Charge, but donations are welcome, benefiting the St. Mary's Altar Society... We have so many awesome pies (I'm bringing Cherry, Blueberry, Cherry Cheesecake and Pecan) and we love seeing our neighbors and friends!

Thank you all for the continued prayers and good thoughts!!

  1. sounds like a good idea of reserved seating, but yes no spur of the moment decisions. Glad all is still going well with them and they must be rested with that NAP the other day.
CU at the pie social and be sure and tell Allen that I miss his smile and singing at church
    LUV U all
