Day 180 - Another spinal tap

We got to have another spinal tap today, which means that we got more anesthesia.  Ryan has gotten where he really enjoys the feeling of anesthesia (which kind of worries me... i.e. is he going to be addicted?), but the doctors assure us that it's not unusual for kids who have lots of medical issues.

We have been going under anesthesia and Interventional Radiology for his spinal taps, ever since they tried 6 times and couldn't get the right spot.  Today, IR asked us why we were doing IR (with full anesthesia) instead of going to the clinic where they could do it under local anesthesia (which would take MUCH less time).  We all decided that maybe we could try clinic for the next one, and see how it goes.

The IR was backed up a bit today, so the boys had to wait about 3 hours, which was kinda annoying.  But, what else were they going to do?

After they were all finished (and Ryan could finally eat, as he'd been NPO since last night) they went over for more French Fries...Perhaps, when I get out there, I can convince him to eat something else.

My flight heads out tomorrow, and I can't wait to see my boys!!

Thank you all for the continued prayers and good thoughts!
