Day 255 - Happy New Year!

Kathryn and I made it safely back home to the lovely -23 degrees... We moved really slowly through Glacier National Park, which contributed to our 7 hour delay, but allowed us plenty of time to see the beauty in the daylight.  No complaints!  I caught this picture from our windows.  The train was awesome and we had a great time!

Ryan is really enjoying his new phone.  He's been calling Grandma and Grandpa a few times a day, just to say hi.  We explained to him how to take pictures himself, so we got pictures today of his Legos and his lunch and his dressing change.  He is officially a teenager, taking selfies.

ANC is still too low for chemo, but we'll keep checking daily until it's good.

2017 has not exactly been the year we expected, but then again, when does anything go as expected!?  We are so tremendously grateful that Ryan has had such an easy time with his chemo and we are getting through this.  We have such amazing friends and family who continue to support us.  We don't know what the new year holds, but I know that with faith and love, we will be fine.

Thank you all for the continued prayers and good thoughts!

(p.s. for my medical friends, yes, the twist in his line is killing me... I actually called to make sure it was fixed...)

  1. So cool that Ryan's new phone will allow him to document some of his experiences himself! Happy New Year, Ryan! XOXO, Aunt Jen
