Day 258 - Still going fine

The waiting stage is always hard.  We have a 'meeting' with the oncology team tomorrow (Thursday) to decide how to proceed.  The doctors are still amazed that the clot has miraculously dissolved, and they would love to get us out of the hospital.  But, they are still cautious. Depending on which chemo meds we choose to go with next might decide if we should stay in for a few more weeks, or head back to the apartment as early as next week.

Ryan is really enjoying the freedom that comes with his new phone.  We chatted for a minute today (during Geometry, of course) and he really liked saying hello to my class.  I think it helps him to talk to people other than Patrick (not that he doesn't like his dad!).  Hopefully will have more info tomorrow after talking to the doctors!

Thank you all for the continued prayers and good thoughts!!

  1. Ryan sure does like to keep everyone on their toes and scratching their heads, thank God he is where he is at with Seattle Children's Hospital--either in the hospital or close :) I bet he does like his phone--and of course he would call during geometry, or at least some class!!! he gets to widen his circle of friends this way!!
    LUV U all
