Day 265 - Oh No! Lost Lego Instructions!

All is still going fine.

However, we had a major crisis today!  Ryan called me around 2:30 (after my class was over, so yea!) and was pretty concerned.  He couldn't find his Lego instructions.  He is in the middle of doing his Lego Batmobile Project with over 1400 pieces.  He's been working on this one since I left, and he's about 1/2 way done.  Each night, he puts the instruction book on his table.

Well, when we woke up this afternoon, it was gone!  Oh no!  I am thinking someone either moved it or it fell on the floor (and we know what happens when things fall on the floor!).  Either way, the world was coming to an end because he couldn't work on his project.  So he called me.  I tried to walk him through how to get directions off the Lego website, but I guess it was just a little too confusing.  Click here, type here, click download, open the file, etc.  So, I told him that I would have Patrick help him later this afternoon.  Then I went merrily on my way to finish my grading.

Apparently, this prompted phone calls to Grandma and Grandpa, and Grandma CC, and I think even Kathryn and Allen got phone calls.  Anyone who might be able to help him get his Lego directions.  And, I'm sure each of those people called Patrick, trying to figure out why he hadn't just dropped everything, left work early to save Ryan from this traumatic experience.  Oh, the horror!

Finally, this evening, Patrick arrived and showed him how to download instructions.  He can now see the instructions on his surface... Ahhh, finally.. all is right with the world again!

Chemo is going great and things are staying on track.  Numbers are good and we're feeling great...

Thank you all for the continued prayers and good thoughts!
