Day 300 - Ryan is still doing great

Nothing new to report from Seattle.  Ryan had a great day.  Patrick worked most of the day, so he wasn't able to make it over to the hospital until the evening.  But, Ryan was in good spirits and his numbers are continuing to do great.  We are still scheduled for the ENT rinse out of his sinus cavity on Friday, and he keeps asking his nurses for his 'sleep medicine' (i.e. his anesthesia)... we have to remind him that he only gets that when he needs it... Ugh, my drug addict...

We had an exciting day in Montana.  A nice blizzard is causing a bit of trouble for us.  While Katie and I went into town to see Dirty Dancing at the Mansfield Theater (which was totally awesome!!), Connor managed to slide off the road on his way home from the Geyser board meeting.  He is fine, and has great stories about the very nice Canadians that gave him a ride home.  (So, if you see our yellow car in the ditch about three miles west of the school, don't be worried.. we are all safe).  Grandpa said he would try to pull it out of the ditch tomorrow, and Connor hoped that it won't be damaged (i.e. he didn't hit anything).  Of course, I think he left the flashers on, so I'm sure the battery will be dead.  No worries, I'm just so grateful that he wasn't hurt and he got home safely!  (And I really wish we could expand the cell phone coverage in that area, right??)  Silly blizzards..

I get to jump on a plane tomorrow to go see my boys!

Thank you all for your continued prayers and good thoughts!

  1. Glad Connor is okay, if the car is damaged -- you can always replace/repair a car, not one of your kids as easily--always told my kids that :) I am not using the name "silly" to describe the blizzards :( I am really tired of the below zero stuff, the snow I can deal with, but hate that cold. )
Enjoy your time with your guys, praying for safe travel for everyone--so many going to basket ball tourney all over MT.
    LUV U all
