Day 323 - Discharge... for the weekend
Since Ryan's counts were so good and he's looks great, we essentially got a weekend pass. They discharged him from the hospital this afternoon. (He's been inpatient since early December) He was so excited to get to spend a few nights in the apartment, instead of the hospital.
He will go back on Monday afternoon, to prepare for the lung biopsy, which is scheduled for Tuesday. Lung biopsies have some risks, so they want to be prepared for any problems. If all goes well on Tuesday, they will probably send him back to the apartment on Wednesday or Thursday. But both boys are grateful for the few days of freedom.
One of the side effects of a 3 month hospital stay is that Ryan is really weak. Patrick is planning (weather permitting) to go for walks all weekend, and see if we can get some strength back in his legs... poor thing!
Thank you all for the continued prayers and good thoughts!

A weekend pass!!!!! they will both enjoy that. I am surprised they don't exercise him in the hospital? But that will be a good job for the boys, hopefully the weather will permit. Prayers for a great report on the lung biopsies next week.
