Day 332 - Busy Day!

The boys had a very busy Sunday in Seattle today.

They had an appointment for the anti-fungal medication that they are giving.  Even though we are still waiting for the biopsy, they wanted to start this med as quick as possible, just in case.  Unfortunately, this medication (Amphotericin) is given IV over 3 hours.  And, because it can be so toxic to the system, he needed to get a 1 Liter saline bolus ahead of time, to make sure his body could handle it.  So, the boys headed over (a bit late) around 9am this morning for a 4 hour infusion.  I'm not sure how long they will be on this med, since they have an appointment with oncology tomorrow and they may decide to change it.  I can't even imagine having to do this 4 hour infusion every day, so I'm hoping the biopsy comes back with some news.

But, I can't drive a stick shift... yet...
Once they finished up, they had another adventure planned.  I've been looking for a new car for a while (my current car is a 2004 minivan, and I'm so done with it).  But, I just don't have the time to look.  I know what I want, so I asked Patrick to head over to the Mazda dealer to check out the CX-3 or CX-5 for me.  He and Ryan took a test drive and they both approved.  Then, of course, Ryan had to check out the new Miata... Ooooohhh... it was pretty.  But, Ryan said that it was too small.  We'll just have to stick with our old one.

Thank you all for the continued prayers and good thoughts!
