Day 388 - Happy Mothers Day!
What a wonderful Mothers day! I'm not usually the 'hallmark holiday' type, but today I have so much to be thankful for! While my oldest was not here (his summer school classes at college start tomorrow), I still had most of my family, my mother and my mother-in-law! I'm so lucky!
We had a lovely breakfast at the Raynesford Community Center (yes, the women cooked, but that's not unusual and many men did help this time!) which meant that I got to spend the morning with some awesome friends! Afterwards, my family allowed me to get a much needed 3 hour nap (which is really all I wanted for mothers day!). Patrick and I took Kathryn in shopping and then we ended the day with dinner with the parents. (Ryan ate all of his pizza, which was an extra bonus!)
At the end of the day, Ryan found the filters on my phone, which added a whole new level of funny to our house. I'm not happy that Patrick tore his calf muscle, but I am thrilled that the boys get to stay another week at home.
Thank you all for the continued prayers and good thoughts!
