Day 398 - Busy day and Summer allergies

Just chilling, getting our chemo.
Our second infusion went great.  Patrick and Kathryn came into town with Ryan and I, so it became a family affair.  All would have been great, except that I tend to react to the change in seasons with terrible allergies.  I was sneezing and sniffling all day... ugh!

Once we finished chemo, we got lunch and then headed out for some shopping.  As Ryan doesn't have any summer clothes that still fit him, we really needed some new things.  New shorts and t-shirts and jeans, oh my!  It's amazing how much he has grown!

After getting some new clothes, it was off to the eye doctor.  Ryan hasn't had his eyes checked in about 2 years, as we usually do it in the summer and, alas, he wasn't here last summer.  Good news is that his prescription hasn't changed much.  I'm sure it will be nice for him to get new glasses without scratches all over them!

By the time we got home, I was exhausted.  Sneezing and shopping just do not mix.  So, I went for a nap and Patrick hung out with the kids.  He was commenting how much he missed just spending time with his family.  I'm so grateful that the boys are home!

Thank you all for the continued prayers and good thoughts!
