Day 419 - Driving home

Sleeping at home tonight!! :)
We woke up very early (around 5am) and started packing the truck.  It's amazing how much crap you can amass in a year... :)  Sometime around 10, I was very sure that we weren't going to fit everything in the truck, as the truck was mostly full and the apartment was still full of stuff... But, through lots of 'tossing' and some very clever tetris packing, we were able to fit everything in the back of Grandpa's truck and the white car.  Around 2pm, we finally got on our way.

It was a very long drive, but around 3am (Montana time), we pulled into the driveway.  Ryan saw the house from a mile away and said, "Hey!  There's my house!  We're home!"  Of course, we've only been gone a week, but packing up the apartment really made it feel real.

We will still be going back for clinic visits and follow up appointments, but with the apartment cleaned out, those visits will feel short term.  It's been a very long year trying to keep up two houses, and I'm so glad to be back home!  We'll have labs probably this week and continue our chemo here in Great Falls.  (Our next trip out to Seattle isn't until July!  Woo hoo)

Thank you all for the continued prayers and good thoughts!
