Day 418 - Transplant clinic and packing
We headed over to the clinic today for our Transplant clinic. Sometimes, through this y ear, we have almost forgotten that we had a transplant before we started this leukemia thing.. Okay, that's not really true... we never forgot, but it was always secondary to our cancer treatment. It was nice to just chat with our transplant and GI team. They are really happy with his liver numbers and they are just amazed at how well he has done thought his treatment.
Other than our quick visit to clinic, we spent the day packing the apartment. Oh my goodness, it's amazing how much crap you can accumulate in a year. The apartment looks like a bomb exploded right now, but I hope that once we start getting things into the truck, it will look a little bit more reasonable. I'm so grateful that Allen chose to come out and help us, as his extra pair of hands has been invaluable!
If all goes well in the morning, we will be on the road before noon, heading back home. Not exactly leaving Seattle behind, as we have another clinic visit in about a month, but at least closing this chapter.
Thank you all for the continued prayers and good thoughts!

ReplyDeleteWhen one steps back and looks at all that Ryan has gone through and comes out with "shinning colors" it is truly a blessing. Prayers are answered over and over.
Safe travels, and thanks for filling in for me Sat at mass!!
