Day 437 - Back to normal

What a nice, lazy Sunday.  Allen woke up early and headed back to Bozeman, but the rest of us slept in.  Patrick and Kathryn went into town (he let her drive the new car into town... which kinda shocked me a bit, but I guess he's trying to make up for all the missed time over the last year.. he took back over once they got there, so I guess there is a limit to that trust thing... :) ), while Connor, Ryan and I hung out at home.

We didn't get much accomplished, but I did make sure Ryan had a good lunch and dinner.  For lunch, he was very specific that he wanted to have all the food groups represented... hot dogs for protein, grapes for fruit, carrots for vegetable, cheese for dairy.  We skipped the starch, but he didn't mind too much.  And of course, Tabasco sauce and pepperoni, just because!

It was a bit strange having a nice family dinner at home, but an awesome kind of strange.  I even made brownies for dessert.

We noticed on Saturday afternoon that Ryan's hair is starting to fall out again.  This isn't too surprising, as he is still on chemo (for the next 3 years), but it's still kind of a bummer.  He was resting his head on my shoulder, and I noticed lots of little hairs when he got up.  Right now, it's mostly a bald spot on the top of his head, but he may lose it all soon.  Oh well, this is kind of expected.  He doesn't seem to upset yet, but we'll see when we have to shave it all off, how he feels.

Plans to head back to Seattle for a quick trip in about a week.  Clinic and ultrasound on the 9th of July.  Otherwise, we are good for a while!  :)

Thank you all for the continued prayers and good thoughts!
