Day 440 - Happy 4th of July!
Happy Independence Day! What a lovely day for our family. We spent a few hours with family this afternoon. BBQ and Chicken, along with chatting with family is such a wonderful way to spend the day. There were a few family members we haven't seen since the last holiday, so that is always fun.
We came home and rested for a bit before heading over to the Raynesford BBQ and fireworks. Patrick was asked to do fireworks this year, so he was excited. What is it about boys and fire? Ryan, of course, had to help! This is one of the really nice things about small town Montana. Not only did we have our fireworks, but our neighbors also set off a few, so we had dueling fireworks. But no worries with the fire department about 300 feet away. What an awesome community we live in!
Follow-up appointment with our surgeon about Ryan's line placement. It's also Patrick's and my 21st anniversary. I'm so glad we get to spend it together this year! Allen is even coming up from Bozeman, so we might get some family time in the evening.
Thank you all for the continued prayers and good thoughts!

Yes, it was a great evening at the RCC, fun visiting, played a few games, good food and the best fireworks--thanks to Patrick and the Simpson family for setting them off!! I like the pic of the 3 generations preparing the fireworks display for the evening :)
ReplyDeleteOh My Goodness, I forgot it was the double Simpson wedding anniversaries -- belated congrats!!
