Day 441 - Happy 21st Anniversary!
Today was our 21st anniversary... So, we spent it doing something new and exciting... we took Ryan to a follow-up appointment with his surgeon. Hahaha... typical, right? Good news is that everything is great. The surgeon said that his line looks great and we should call him in a few years to replace it. Otherwise, all is good!
We considered going to the rally this afternoon, but decided that the odds of us getting in were slim and we didn't really want to wait in line in the heat. So, we got a good breakfast/lunch and headed back home to rest.
Later this evening, Patrick and I headed back into town for an anniversary dinner, which was great. Jaker's scones are to die for!! We got a call from Ryan on our drive back home, letting us know that Connor was torturing him. Turns out that Ryan was a bit warm and Connor was worried, but didn't want to ruin our anniversary dinner by calling us... so, he was just trying to cool him down by putting ice cubes down his shirt... Ahhh, brothers.
Ryan is fine and his temperature (when we finally found the thermometer) was totally normal. Probably just adjusting to the 90 degree temperature we had today... Ryan has never done well with the heat.
Hopefully, we will head into town for movies, as Ryan has been begging for Jurassic World since it came out. He also wants to see Ant-Man and Wasp, so we might beat the heat tomorrow in the theater?
Thank you all for the prayers and good thoughts!

Love your wedding picture.
ReplyDeleteWell, of course, you put ice cubes down your brother's shirt to cool him off :)
I watched the Trump rally on TV, I wasn't going to stand in line--in fact wouldn't for anyone :( lots of folks stood in line for many hours and still didn't get in, a few thousand got cut off.
A movie theatre sound like a good thing on a hot day--John and I did that one 4th of July!! there were a few other couples in there doing the same thing.
Enjoy your day, knowing that Ryan's line is okay for a few years, will help!!
LUV U all
