Day 464 - Fun day!
Ryan spent most of the day playing with legos and his computer games. He got out of doing his school work in the morning, since I went on a hike up Memorial Falls with the rest of the family, which was just fine with him. Patrick stayed home with him, so he was pretty spoiled, and more than a bit annoyed when I got home and told him it was time for school work. He survived, and we only had one or two little melt downs.
I'm actually really pleased at how he's adjusting to the homeschool routine. He has a list of things to accomplish, and he gets to decide the order. Sometimes we do spelling first, and sometimes it's math. He likes having some control, and I like that he doesn't fight me (too much) when he's made the choice. He also really likes knowing that when we are done with the list of work for the day, he's pretty free to do what he wants.
Allen and his friend came home to spend some time with the aunts before they headed back home, so it was great to see them. I love that he's only in Bozeman and it's not difficult for him to come home for a few days. And Ryan loves to spend time with his brother!
More chemo scheduled for mid next week, so we are hoping for a response from the Seattle team about his belly. I don't know if there is a right answer. If we stop the chemo to allow his belly to heal, will it reopen as soon as we restart the chemo? It is better to just keep trudging along? Right now, we're just praying for wisdom for us and the team.
Thank you all for the continued prayers and good thoughts!
