Day 467 - State Fair!
What a beautiful day for the State Fair!
It was a bit warm, but not bad. We were pleasantly surprised by the discounted tickets (only $4 per person at 2 this afternoon. $1 off thanks to University of Providence and then something about early bird prices.. woo hoo!), and then extra presents: chapstick and sunscreen from the U of P booth. Bonus!!
We got fair food (foot long hot dogs and lemonade) but couldn't find the cheese curds. I even ran in to one of my favorite Speech and Drama coaches, which made me long for October when we get to start the season back up.
Ryan and I headed over to the Lego Building area. He had a little race car and I had these obnoxious nanoblocks, which were so small I could barely see them. He finished in about 5 minutes, and it took me about an hour. Good times... We saw the robotics team from GFHS and then Ryan wanted to go on rides. Katie was kind enough to go with him (I'm a bit too old for the rides), which was awesome.
Patrick and I headed out with Ryan a bit early, since he was getting hot and tired. But he had a great time!
