Day 468 - No chemo?
So, apparently, my schedule is off. We had our last dose of this chemo on July 9th, so we don't need it again until August 9th. So... we didn't have to go in for more chemo today!
We did get a call from Seattle and apparently, the chemo we had scheduled for next week (Monday-Friday) they don't have... We are looking into other ways to get it, but there is a shortage and Great Falls doesn't get any. However, Seattle does have it, so they suggested that we just come out to Seattle for a week and get it there. We are trying to find any other solution that doesn't include going to Seattle for a week... (I mean, can't they mail it or something??) It would also be the week before school starts back up, and I kind of want to be here to get the kids ready. Oh well, we'll see how it works out.
Ryan woke up cranky, which isn't surprising from our busy day yesterday. We had to argue a bit about schoolwork, but in the end, he decided it was worth it to get his work finished so he could play. He did great!
So, no chemo until at least next Monday and maybe not even then. On the bright side, his belly is healing up and is barely leaking today. On the dark side, we expect it to open back up as soon as we start the chemo back up. Oh well, life is like that!
Thank you all for the continued prayers and good thoughts!
