Day 489 - Ugh..
Ryan is fine.
However, Allen and Connor both left today for college. Allen went with his sister and a friend, so I wasn't even there. (I was a bit nervous about my 16 year old daughter driving the 3 hours home from Bozeman alone, but she said it was easy.) Of course, Allen's a sophomore and he's almost 20 and I was good with that. I went through the sobbing last year when I dropped him off and he's totally where he should be.
Patrick and Grandma CC and I dropped Connor off in Missoula. Oh jeez... The day consisted of 'nope, I'm not crying.. I'm okay...sniff, sniff'. No pictures because I couldn't remember to pull out my phone and take any. (By the way, his room is awesome... he's in a 3 room pod of 'single' rooms, with a common area with a fridge and a microwave... so cool!) We got his room somewhat put together with his bedding and his keyboard and guitar and computer, then had lunch in town. When we dropped him off for the final time, they kinda had to shove me in the car to leave, because I didn't want to let go. Oh, how this sucks. I'm so excited and happy for him, but I'll miss him. Maybe it's worse, because I know now how much I missed Allen when he left. Oh jeez, I'm rambling. And I'm crying again, so I'm going to stop...
Ryan hung out with the grandparents today and picked up flowers. He claims he's going to plant them tomorrow at Grandma's house, so, we'll see how that goes.
Now I'm going to bed and hoping that my eyes are not puffy tomorrow.
Thank you all for the continued prayers and good thoughts!!
